I read it as the "Immorality Spell" and thought it sounded like a great idea.

Under heal it won't matter. I've seen many max th9 cores wrecked by pack of hogs under heal in seconds regardless of dps.

True true, I seen it happen in my core also, but I usually have other th9 maxed level point defense with all 4 teslas too for my farming base and both heroes roaming near there so hogs aren't a thing for me.

I can't seem to understand the urge of opening this kind of threads.

Heal isn't a counter to pack of cc wiz: if you lose all your giants to cc wiz then you probably need a more effective solution to fighting off defending cc troops (and heal was never the answer). The op also has a point that instead of using new features (dgb with bonus damage to hogs, or IT which cancels healing), it is more elegant to tweak heal (ie longer duration, but less healing per second) to balance it rather than add new features (as you are increasing the complexity of the system and may have other unintended consequences). I am not saying this is a better or worse solution than IT's healing block or dgb bonus damage solution, but his suggestion is interesting and I see why a more simple solution over a more complicated solution is attractive. To the op: this is a tough sell especially on this forum.
Reducing healing is a worse solution by far. Because then the defender needs to do nothing - the heal is simply too weak and the hogs and giants will melt. That's the no-strategy, just spam whatever troops, version (a bit like the poison spell)

Much better this way - healed giants or hogs are potentially powerful, but there are several counters to them:
    - unlurable CC
    - central AQ
    - double bombs (for hogs)
    - good walls (for giants)
    - lead them in circles
    - good spring traps
    - cluster of strong point guns, especially 4 level 7 teslas - TH9 hogs really do struggle against these

The OP has a weak design, semi-rushed base. It looks like he barches and has maxed to the limit all the guns which counter barch (wiz tower, mortar) while neglecting everything else.

So of course "everything else" kills that base. Loons will murder it as well, with or without lava. I would say the base is pretty barch proof. But this game isn't only about barch. Being looted by hogs is pretty rare, and if your base falls to it, better to fix the flaws in the base than whine that it's unfair. Because you can defend against hogs.

Well, halved heal may be too much but the point is immortal heal may be too strong also. I'm sure a happy medium could be found if they wanted, but never the less it's and interesting idea and worth chatting about. Opp already has strong walls, decent spring traps, and lead them circles. His core DPS could be higher, but as stated high dps rarely defends a decent hogger due to immortal heal. At the end of the day hog raids fail due to:

    1) fail kill squad (aq/cc lives)
    2) hog pathed over dgb (either because KS couldn't diffuse dgb, or couldn't set off dgb with a few hogs or path around them)
    3) bad spell timing/placement

Yes, dps, can help to wear down the hogs, but rarely is dps the major contributor for a failed hog raid imho.

Immortality? LOL I read "inmorality" spell!

I though it was a new spell that when you are snipping THs and an inmoral players traps their TH, you drop the spell and the teslas, bombs, traps, everything surrounding the TH gets useless, allowing you to snip the TH with no problem

Forget about it Jonhhy, Supercell seens to be deaf and this is a place full of noobs.

I'm considering going to TH10 and enjoy those Infernos anyway, seens like the only reasonable way to finally get rid of this immortality spell.
