I guess you can BAM for 50% till high Crystal as a TH8. Even I aim to get to Masters at TH8.

My plan:
GiBarch/Barch till C3
BAM till C2/1
GoWiPe from then on.

Pushing too high as a lower level th is usually boring, because you're usually relying on snipes. Wait till you get good troops at TH9 to push using real attacks instead of snipes. Trust me, it's a lot of fun!

but yeah, when you're sniping th's, you have to find something else to do, otherwise the nexting will burn you out. Unless you're the Phobot..

I find GoWiPe is a bit too DE costly. Plus Opinion is a lot more fun to use IMO.

Should I create a TH8 pushing progress thread?
Also I have no actual end goal, but I am planning to reach 3000 trophies as TH8 (Hello, no life)

Then a giwazard,but with atleast one pekka thrown in,should cost 200k,but highly successful in getting the middle of the base,only to attack people with above 200k elixir(plenty of em there)

Make sure you expose your th,you don't want to get blasted by th9s
