Why the biasness?!?!

I have noticed that on the base designs sub category, many of the base building threads are focused on th9 with little to none on th8. Well, I am a TH8 and i find it hard to understand why there are so few threads on TH8? Is TH8 really that impossible to build a good base to deter TH9 attackers? Whats with the biasness?!?!

Probably because TH9 is the level most people have spent most time at.

So there are more people contributing base designs.

A lot of people will only spend 2-3 months at TH8, while they will then spend 3-4 times as long at TH9.

My advice is don't use popular internet bases
For TH8 I saw a village in multiplayer, screenshot it and now I'm using it ahah

TH8 is full of internet war bases floating around though

I think this^ is the answer. Although I have seen quite a lot of TH8 layouts.
Anyway, there isn't much a TH8 base layout can do to save you from a well executed TH9 raid, so...

Yes. It is nearly impossible to deter TH9 attackers with a base layout at TH8. The only thing that deters me from attacking TH8's is the amount of loot they have on them. No loot = no attack

Don't use internet bases. Either get a custom design made, or make one yourself.

There are several good TH8 layouts, you just need to search for them a bit more or make it yourself. However, a good point is raised. Most people spend a ton of time at TH9. With a heavy population at TH9, you have a bigger pool of players that would design bases.

That said... An experienced TH9 raider will destroy any TH8. GiBarch + AQ + BK = GG base.

No Loot is the best defense as mentioned before. Learn to spend the loot quick or learn to hide it. =)

Because th8's are kind of irrelevant in war. Any th 9 will 3 star any th 8.
