Most foolproof and efficient strategy for (new) TH9 to 3 star any TH8

I have to go with the majority here and say laloonion. I like 2 hounds, 20-30 minions, and the rest loons. All rage for spells. Pretty much a no-brainer.

I've also used 10 loons and 10 dragons, and never had that fail. This can be used while you upgrade your barracks to get lavahounds. It's pretty much the same as TH8 dragloon, but with more level 6 loons.

TH9 should beat a TH8 senseless, considering there are an array of TH8 attacks that 3 star other TH8's......

I used a Lvl 4 Drag with 2 more CC loons
4 Rage and 1 Poison

-Kill opposing CC
-Drop Lavas
-Loons behind them
-Rage x 4
-Drop Minis for cleanup

If you feel inclined Drop heros .... I didn't even bother on my last attack. Using this against TH8's is a way OP.

Yeah, there is nothing that gets me crazier, then one of our Th9s fails to 3 star a TH8 in a close war. Yeah, I can see where you thought you pulled the whole cc, with those 4 archers that came out....

This is so silly. You guys r trying to 3* th8. Real challenge is always 2* th10. If u can do that then you are worth th9. Otherwise i often do 3* on th8. I am a th8. 💪💪

Clearly, you've never strategized saving a max 8 for a 9 at the end of the war and he two starred it with a gowiwi when something dumb happened and there was no one left to clean it up, when he should never have two starred it to begin with. We all could have two starred 8s with hogs as an 8, but it was never a certainty like mass dragons on th7s are, and if a 9 is dropping to hit an 8 that level of certainty is required. I've seen Dragloons fail (no one with death loons should use dragons ever), gowipes, gowiwis, hogs, etc.. even if it fails only 10-20% of the time, that's a risk that should never be taken hence discussing this.

As a th 9 lt will be crazy if u could not do 3 *on th8. (In 8 days i will becomes new th9. Only 53 walls left for scull, will do at 9. ) I got two best war base 10 wars ago, sadly can't enjoy much. Even on one base th9 need 3 golem or max hogs but th8 could 2* on that. Current war base is like th8 can do max 1* or th9 3*. Its wired base. Lol. Enjoy ur perfect strategy.

I am still a fan of dragloon against max th8s. Lavaloon is insane overkill, and does not satisfy my needs from the standpoint of my username.

Loonion should be good since you have your Balloons maxed, but if I were you, I'd take more Rage spells than Heals.

Even little groups of max Loons under Rage are impressive.

Loonion certainly can 3* a max TH8, but it's not nearly as foolproof as when you throw in a couple of lavahounds. I would use dragloon over loonion until you get hounds.
