    Very nice!!

That is why we donate archers until new member donations are up. Enjoyed the game. Hey, if someone doesn't "lock the door" it is open for the look and help.

Someone in global once requested me for a Golem. I gemmed it because I had to go. Seriously all this just for max loons?

    Funny Story

Over the weekend, we had a TH8 player join our clan. By the time I logged on, he'd already had a troop request for maxed loons up. I looked him over, noticed he still had a war timer counting down on his profile. Looked over his base, saw three lighting spells and 10 drags. Chatted with him for a bit, asked what happened with his clan that was in war, why no longer there, why he had drags queued up, all that jazz. The player begged and pleaded his case- how he was kicked, blah, blah. Swore up and down he wasn't looking for CC troops to use in his war. I knew better- but had an idea floating in my head. Rather than kick him on the spot, I'd give him a chance...I was bore I suppose.

Gave him the loons, he of course left me a heartwarming message (sarcasm) in clan chat and left. I waited a few minutes, checked his profile and sure enough he was in a TH8/7 clan. After a few more minutes- his CC troops, spells and drags were gone. Quick turn around war hit. Lucky for me, his clan was still open to invite. I had one of my TH9s leave the clan to go see if he could join the CC hopper. I wanted to know who they were at war with. Fortune shined on us- not only did my mate get in, and grab all the necessary info- but the other clan was open to new players as well!

Now it was my turn. Joined the clan he was at war with, telling them I was there to feed them troops and help them when their war. Explained what had happened on the other side. 10 hours left in the war, a small 10v TH8/7. Fed them what they needed, even gave some pointers on a couple attacks- and watched them for a bit before wishing them luck and heading off. A double check this morning showed they pulled it out, so all in all a good time was had by all. Almost all.
    Made me laugh! Thanks!

With 'cautionary' in the title I expected a different kinda story but you surprised me pleasantly with your tale.

Nice to know there are fellow ' friendly neighbourhood clashers ' out there, that like helping out.

Funny way to punish the underhanded way he went about it. I don't get why he felt the need to lie, I ask for war donations in global all the time (I'm the top player in a th7/8 clan and my guys don't have my lvl troops yet). There are a load of generous friendly people out there willing to help me out.

Someone takes this game too seriously, probably a boring clan full of "mature" players lol.

Good stuff! I've done similar, but not to that extreme, lol. I'd be fine with it if they wouldn't lie about the situation to get what they want. But if they leave me feeling duped, I reserve the right to go make their war as hard for them as I can.

Idk why he didn't just say what the troops were for. It's usually quite easy to find people willing to be generous on global. However, there's no way I'd be running to his clan and then to the enemy clan over some troops. Fun story though.
