Update Speculation/Evidence

Hello,

Based off of what we've seen from both Youtubers and Supercell, it makes sense to think the answer is RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.

This update is going to be a clan wars related update.

It's been ages since we had a clan wars update (the most 'recent' being clan levels). Galadon & Chief Pat who've been to SC HQ to host clan war streams have ALSO been making clan war videos on Youtube.

We keep talking about Th11, but last update SC made it very clear that they have no intentions on working towards TH11, as only 1% of the community are maxed TH10. Previously, they released TH10 when lots of clashers were max Th9.

We keep hearing about a game changing update, and based off of how much the war community is either leaving the game due to m⚫️dders or purely how stale wars have become, it makes much sense that this update will be a clan wars update.

On a personal note, I'm thinking that either arranged wars or tournaments will be coming.

Anyways, those are just my thoughts. I can't see anything else being released aside from small updates, and 'game changing' doesn't exactly sound small to me

I think arranged clan wars will never come because it's so easily exploitable to get XP and loot (unless they code them to give no XP neither loot)

Hence why the chances are that they'd make it so that you can't gain xp or loot from it. I would make a thread on the details, but there are plenty of those lol

The war community wants it. Loot wars/random matchups provide no challenge, and many have asked for it

A minority of the war community wants it. The majority I speak with would rather max their clan level rather than play about with arranged matches.

More clan levels would be nice, there's just two levels left for many of us. Now that we have the xp carrot for wars, going back to warring just for the heck of it in a maxed clan seems unsatisfying. And there's some really cool stuff they could add as a perk. Just look at the ruled out ideas thread, that's where all the new updates have been coming from.

Arranged matches would be nice but not for no loot. Except for elite clans nobody will do it or only once. Yes you can exploit it to get free loot, but you can do that anyway.

With loot I think this will change clan wars completely. Clans will stop focusing on keeping their rating down and will start going to th10 and build those infernos, because the overall strength will count.

For tournaments I think they will also ignore the strength of the players, because it is impossible to get a fair match with 32 or 64 players. There will always be mismatches and the most lucky clan will win.

I dont know what is coming, but it should be better be something really big after 3 months (I guess the update will be late September).
