I'm more familiar with 8.5 than with 9.5 but yeah the point is no infernos and no 3rd xbow

I laughed.

You would absolutely cringe at how much gold I send into the ether on a daily basis. There's just no need for it for certain accounts. Usually I start, then cancel the th upgrade.

Well, it's only 5m....

What you need to ask yourself, is would a 9.5 be an asset to your clan?

If you have max th9 royals anyway, with the right attack you have 3* power over all th9s, and 2* weaker 10s.

You gain some more attack power, so can 3* those tough 9s or 2* better 10s more easily.....but you're not adding any 3* defence protection.

9.5s are a great idea fundamentally, but have limited use depending upon clan make-up.

Second the comment about considering what TH composition your clan has.

You didn't mention what level heroes you have, so I'm guessing they aren't max. The way I am doing 9.5 right now is all offense and not building any defense while I finish getting my heroes 30+. Attacking TH10 in war (if war is your priority) then you truly need to focus on heroes. I started by focusing on getting camps, SF, lab, and CC. Research wise, I did hounds and golems while I was farming all the elix upgrades and then would suggest maxing freeze and some farming troops.

If you have any more info about your base, that could help getting more specific advice.
