Th9 with max troops. What is your favorite strategy for war when queen is upgrading? Don't say sit out. Im a co-leader in a war clan and can't sit out for a month at a time. Thanks!

I don't know of any 3 star high level attacks that dont rely on heros, especially the queen unless you plan on dropping quite a bit.

My question is why you feel you can't sit out during war just because you are the coleader? Im leader and always sit out my 7 days while heros upgrade.

Maybe attack low th9s/high th8s with lavaloonion

Lavaloon is a powerfull war strategy that has low hero reliance. Having both your heroes available is a big plus, im pretty sure though you can do a decent attack without them.

Wouldnt be a big deal if it was just 1 level.... but i want to get my aq from 15 to 20 as quickly as possible. Cant not war for 5 weeks.

Just like any th9 attack it depends on the base.

I've had success without a queen using gohowiwi if the queen is somewhat accessible, I would lure so I'm not dealing with drags/loons in the middle of the base. Witches and wizards shouldn't have a problem with them.

Options -
1. sit out war
2. gem AQ
3. attack bases lower on war map (and/or do cleanup)
4. Find a base you can exploit w/o "needing" the queen, varies by base but probably one where your kill squad can take out an AD or 2, the opposing AQ and CC so layout is pretty important in choosing target

Its up to you, thats just my recommendation but if your clan doesn't mind and can pick up your slack, its all what your clan considers acceptable. I agree it would be hard for me to sit out for 5 weeks in a row too. I usually sit out a week, war for a week or so then do the next level so I only miss a week at a time. Of course thats a slower process.
