While I haven't upgraded, you are wrong here.
While upgrading has no effect on the number of spells required to drop walls, it does have an effect on the amount of damage caused to other structures.
Whether that increase is worth teh DE cost of upgrading is questionable, but tere is a point in upgrading.
A lot of people think this. A lot of others would disagree.I for one am shocked people actually use it. 4 spell spaces to do what my max jump spell can do in 2 spell spaces.....pointless.
For a start, EQ is available at TH8, jump not until TH9.
Secondly, EQ lasts for the whole battle, jump only for a limited time.
Thirdly, it appears from anecdotal evidence that troops are still aware of the wall under the jump spell, and if their AI causes them to avoid walls, they aren't much (if any) more likely to go that way than they would if the jump was not in effect.
