lol... it is indeed pretty obvious that the attacker in the video was botting, that kind of attacks has happened to me more than a few times as well. some of them kept raiding and cooking troops even when all the storages were full. it seems most of those botters hang around in low trophy ranges, e.g. low silver, etc.

I used to report a clan that blatantly stated that botting was a requirement for joining - supercell took an immediate action in less than 24 hrs.

Now my guess is, they won't do anything if there's no solid proof. by that i mean, for example, a killer could have had every evidence against him/herself, but was not able to be convicted due to the lack of a murder weapon. That's why I never bothered to report any of those botters that attacked me.

Personally I think SC support is terrible and has been since day 1.

They can easily ban for absurd global reporting yet take forever to ban those who use abusive language/layouts, use multiple accounts on 1 device, use BOTs and other software to see opposition traps.

So they punish if we say we support skill but if we actually use skill and someone reports us with actual proof but no words there will be no consequences.

That means if you are sure it is an automated attack (and we are sure), if you ask me again I will ask a human to watch it. Reply back insisting for them to do so. I think the previous answers were all scripts, as clearly they weren't relevant nor intelligent to the initial inquiry.

Supercell themselves use bots. What a shame .... Can afford million dolar comercials but can't hire a couple of guys for support...

It's really hard to tell if the guy was legitimately attacking. The troops weren't dropped perfectly straight, and the speed of them being dropped wasn't inhumanly fast. It looked like a very skilled player deploying them, but who knows.

Ya I've been hit by a few bot attacks. The issue is android doesn't allow screen caps so I can't send them videos.

Reasons why it was a bot.

1. A very skilled player would not have attacked that base with that army

2. The speed and distribution means it was a bot. That was not a 2 finger drag attack because it tskes time to register the drop. If you just swipe the screen it moves the screen. The archers were dropped instantly after the barbs without the pause required to establish the drag drop.

Edit to above thread. You can easily program in a randomized variable delay to the troop timings and locations to vary them slightly so as to not appear to be a bot.
