Not liking the updated Multiplayer search matching

I am in th9 with 3372 trophies.. everytime I search bases, I search th10 bases 80% of the time, the main problem is whenever I found a th9 base that I can star.. I only get 1-2 trophies per star.

Without the new matchmaking, you would be seeing an even greater amount of TH10s. Remember, the higher you go, town halls lower than TH10 become even more and more of a minority. The reason you're only being offered 1-2 cups for those TH9s is because there are no unshielded TH9s at your cup range to match you with.

And whenever I am being attacked.. even if they only 1starrd me, I am always losing 15-20 trophies..its because some th9 from masters1-3 can search me. Quite not fair for us aiming for higher trophies.. its like winning 3trophies and losing 6.

It's rare to be able to find high-cup offers. After all, how often do you find them? Well the players that are being offered high cups for your base aren't getting these offers every time they press the next button. So when someone hits the jackpot and finds your base for a high offer, of course they're going to take it.

You have to accept it for what it is. If you're being offered only low cups for the bases you can even one-star and offering higher cups to other players of your own town hall level, then you're really pushing the envelope for your current progress in the game. If this is too difficult for you, you may want to consider a different strategy, such as staying lower until you've upgraded enough to remain that high without these problems.

So what you are saying is that the game is making it hard for a TH that is not the top TH from getting high in trophies....seems to be working as intended as far as I can see. If you want to go higher, upgrade your base.

The matchmaking update did have a pretty big impact for any th below 10 moving around in champs. My th9 was above 3600 when the update hit and while the low cup offers were there the reach from way below you wasn't with most defenses hitting me for 1-3 trophies. Since the update I've also had both my 9 and 10 in the same trophy range not with the town hall out and the difference in trophies offered to others was pretty drastic.....my th9 usually offering double.
