Not liking the updated Multiplayer search matching

since supercell updated the matching category of the game were close th and level is matched I found it hard for me to maintain my champions league trophies. I am in th9 with 3372 trophies.. everytime I search bases, I search th10 bases 80% of the time, the main problem is whenever I found a th9 base that I can star.. I only get 1-2 trophies per star. And whenever I am being attacked.. even if they only 1starrd me, I am always losing 15-20 trophies..its because some th9 from masters1-3 can search me. Quite not fair for us aiming for higher trophies.. its like winning 3trophies and losing 6.

Yeaa i feel you man. Right now i'm not pushing,so i just try to maintain my cups not to fall too low as to lose the champion bonus. So that way i wont need to worry about cups too much and the bases i find when my cups are between 3100 and 3200 seems quite easy and profitable.

I just maintain my position between 3100-3200. I agree its annoying losing double figures for a snipe but its pretty easy to find snipes too in this range. And every now and then you find a fat th8 :-) :-)

From my experience it's not the fact that it's all th10s, at my current troohy count they are worth 1-4 so on a 2 star you are pretty much just plugging away 1 at a time.....it's the fact that a th8 or 9 can see you from 800 trophies away and 1 star you on a snipe for 19 that completely wipes out any progress you may have been making grinfding things out.

Then don't put your TH out. Problem solved. Make them work for those trophies. My expereince in high masters is if your base looks scary, most TH 8s and early TH 9's will not even bother with you.

Sounds like you need to learn how to attack th10s than.

I agree that the update appears to have relaxed the allowable trophy range for standard random MM. It is quite normal for me to get attacked by players with 800 fewer trophies - not Revenge.

I had multiple non-Revenge > 50 cup offers for attackers in less than a week.

Once I got my 2k gem bonus, the cups no longer mattered (to me) as I typically add/drop cups to stay in the loot sweet spot, which can vary from one day to the next.

The big challenge here is that you can try to get by with a TH snipe or hide your TH and get crushed with 5 minutes of going on defense.

i.e.
Option One: Someone happens to go by and lazily TH snipes you for 18 trophies, wiping out your progress for the prior session.
Option Two: Someone happens to go by and have a 240 troop army and easily crushes you for three stars and 54 trophies.

Both have happened to me, so I'll take an 18 trophy snipe as opposed to a 54 trophy 3 star every day of the week.
