Getting sniped for double digits in Champs

I've noticed a trend lately where I'm getting sniped for double digit losses nearly every log off. I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 3250 trophies and have been in this range for more than a month. For the first several weeks most of my losses were in the 1-5 cup range. But going on 2-3 weeks it's a guaranteed -11 to -13 EVERY time. I don't super care about the trophy count as I'm not really pushing. But it's just something I've noticed enough that I'm starting to wonder if it's more than just bad luck. I believe my string coincides with a recent afternoon maintenance break.

Is anyone else noticing something like this?

And on a side note, I used to be able to find 2-3 snipes an hour just while my army builds. Lately it seems like I can go more than 200 searches without seeing one(yes, I count).

1) This is the new matchmaking, but doesn't have much change effect at Champ+
2) Go higher up to 3400-3550+, here (or higher), you will be snipe for 1-3 only. Sometimes will get raided for 7-13 though.
3) Reason is 3250 is very near the 3200, where a lot of M1/M2 are climbing for the achievement to get gems. Once you are higher up, the match making will be mainly Champ 1 to Titan 2.

I'm not so sure if something has changed, but it seems you might be right. Perhaps supercell relaxed the acceptable cup range for attacks, to keep folks from being in the clouds for too long.

I had multiple non-Revenge > 50 cup offers for attackers in less than a week.

-12 TH snipe
-13 TH snipe
-19 TH snipe

Once I got my 2k gem bonus, the cups no longer mattered (to me) as I typically add/drop cups to stay in the loot sweet spot, which can vary from one day to the next.
