Balanced th8

Since I have upgraded to th10 on my main account, I don't have anything to do as every upgrade takes like 10/14 days! So concentrating on my mini th8 account. I have been warring for last 4/5 weeks and I'm very impressed to see how the game is balanced at th8! It takes skill to 3* a max th8 base and without 3*ing th8s, you can't win a war (im in a all th8 clan right now)! loving my minin account now! lol. Th7 is imbalanced though. Drag is wayyy overpowered at th7. th8 is fun indeed! I'm mostly using hog and gowipe. i hate drag attack and it's not easy against 3 lvl 6 AD.

In b4 those "3*ing th8 is cake" comments: Keep your comment with you! it's not that easy against max th8 with th8 troops and it takes skill.

The TH I like and enjoyed the most is TH 9.
TH 8 was fun and important too because during it I started to know more about farming.

I agree - TH8 v TH8 is a very balanced attack/defense. A lot can go right or wrong during the attack to change 3 stars to 1 star or vice versa pretty quick.

Base design and attack strategy comes into play heavily as there are a few 3* type attacks for 8 v 8 and some are better than other depending on layout.

Though having gone to TH9 with bigger camps and better troops it is very easy to 3 star any TH8 unless I totally flub the attack but that wasn't the point of your thread.

I have to agree with you entirely. TH8 is very balanced, and TH9 makes the game even more balanced, making it much much more difficult to three-star TH9s unless you use hybrid attacks (and upgrade your heroes!)

TH7 is boring and there are not many compositions that you can use other than mass drag, as you haven't unlocked golems or pekkas and hogs are useless at level 2, so the only viable strategy is mass drag at that stage.

TH10 is really unbalanced, especially as mass-golem attacks are pretty easy to 2-star TH10s (with max heroes, of course!) I think TH10 needs rebalancing, as well as TH7 as drags need to be nerfed so people can't just spam them and always expect a 3-star (which is what always happens.)

Too many TH8 players cling to dragons from TH7 and don't learn the proper strategies and so when they get to TH9, they're screwed.

Love the balancing of the game at TH8 and TH9!

I don't get the comparison. It's pretty easy to 2-star at pretty much any level, so why is TH10 unbalanced? I'm still TH9, but my opinion is that currently TH10 is unbalanced the other way. I rarely see a (non-premi) TH10 3-starred in war. Also, requiring max heros is a bit much IMO, since you (I?) rarely see max heros.

I hope to see some new troops released for TH10 soon that will (hopefully) open up more war attack strategies for TH10 vs TH10.

I don't see how you can make 2* harder and 3* easier, unless you make some TH specific defense. Or... you make the TH just another building and base all stars on a percentage of the base destroyed, which I support BTW. I think that would solve a wide range of problems, but that's another topic.
