We are in a war with the clan voodoo katana , and one of them left the clan and joined our clan , then left ours and went back to Voodoo katana and attacked , I'm sure he shared our base layout with the rest of them! Supercell needs to fix this , it's happened before but they have never joined ours, just other clans got troops and went back and used them!
This is why you close or severely restrict your recruitment efforts during war, theres work arounds for it, and most clans do it

First of all you can't use the other clans name. It's against forum rules "naming and shaming"
Secondly, close your clan during war and don't let anybody in unless you know where they came from.
Spying is a part of the game. Lots of clans do it. Whether to actually gain advantage or just to amuse themselves at the thought of getting you upset at the prospect of them having an advantage. Supercell has said on here (I think) that it is not something they will be changing. It's a war tactic. .morally wrong? Perhaps. But a tactic nonetheless. You have the same ability. Nothing you can do now unless it's still prep day. If it is, then change some of your bases around and maybe swap out some war castle troops. If the war is in progress just close your clan and continue as normal.

If, when you say "Supercell needs to fix this", what you actually mean is that you would like to see the game changed to prevent it, then please post your suggestion in the Ideas and Feature Requests forum, but check first it hasn't already been ruled out.
There is a fix already, it's a button that allows you to close your clan when in CW.
There is no way SC coul fix this. Yes, they could lock players from the clan you are in CW against from coming to your clan, but still they could kick someone out before they launch the CW, and this guy would then be allowed to come to your clan, or they could you someone from a feeders clan or whatever.
Spionage is part of every war, this is not different in this game ;-)

It never fails to amaze me how naive some clans can be, my clan had a laughing fit when I actually pulled this off on another team. Amazingly, they just let me in, I screen shotted their bases and clan castles and came on back home.
While this tactic makes for great lulz value, unfortunately it has limited actual tactical advantage. Any experienced player can tell you exactly where the teslas and GB's are in an opponent base and should be able to deal with whatever the clan castle is holding anyway.
tl;dr- you shouldn't be letting randoms into your clan particularly if they come from your opponent's team
If you don't like it, close your clan.
I don't see the value in spying as it is pretty easy to figure out troops and traps. Some do like the entertainment value of the clan chat though.
If you're one of the cos or leader you should send clan mail telling everyone not to accept people they don't know during wars.
