I think the real problem is, that in between trashing the low point tasks, your current task appears each time, So if you are moving quickly. You just tap task and hit delete, but if you don't tap the crappy task securely enough, Your current task will stay there as default, and you will hit delete for it. Maybe work on changing that somehow. Love the game. And just bought 4000 diamonds, so please help us with this! Or add an extra step to delete current task. Make it SUPER obvious.![]()
Obviously the system that's in place is not working, members have suggested many things from making your own task a different colour to not allowing you to trash your own task.
Nothing has been done and the problem continues, we are in the champion league, trashing still seems to be a way of life but we've run into trashing our own tasks this round.
Im sure making your own task a different colour isn't that hard, just write a different colour code, but please do something about this as isnt no longer an occasional problem but the norm for players.
1. What is the logic of trashing a selected task?
2. Do You agree that the current trashing method (talking about selected ongoing tasks) is faulty and creates a hell lot of unnecessary problems?
3. Is there anybody working on this issue or in Your opinion this is just "perfect" as it is?
4. Are You considering removing the option of trashing Your own task?
5. Are You listening to us?
6. Why too many low points tasks on the board and I have hundred Hungarian forints to buy You a gift for Christmas (Hannukah). How can I send it to You?
7. By sticking to the "fantastic" idea of being able to trash a selected task, is it a good idea or suggestion to make it work like it works at the boats so a task being started cannot be trashed?
Waiting for the answers.

P.S. Are You playing the game or You are paid to read and answer the questions posted here?Disregard question nr. 6, just checking if You read it or not.
Just a thought.
If one trashes a current task, why not allow for the selection of a replacement task instead of using it as one of your quota? This could solve the problem of an accidental (blue hat) or poor (low) task selection. It would also lessen the damage of trashing a current task accidentally. You would lose any progress you had made on the task but would not lose the ability to still complete the full number of tasks.
I share task trashing with a number of hoodies. I accidently deleted my own task exactly ONE time. So, in a year-ish of derbies, one time. The leader ends up buying an extra task about 6-8 times because she trashes her tasks more often. So, yes, I have had that pop up when two of us are trashing low point tasks but I pay more attention after doing it. Just saying...
But, what would make more sense to make trashing tasks the extract same way we trash truck orders. Unfortunately, it is more like sending away townies we don't want to serve. Maybe we should have to choose our task, have that little swirly thing to get the trash option like we get the option to send off townies in order to delete our task. How does that sound? Notice, if you specify the two functions to act like things we do in other places, it is easier to get programmers and designers to consider it. We aren't reinventing or adding something, but equating them with how other things function.
Trashing your own task is like spending diamonds without meaning to. To those it does not happen to, it does not seem to be a problem. To those it does happen to, it seems like a huge problem. Probably has more to do with device and connection. No one in our hood of 30 has deleted task in error. Several in forum has. So insinuating that Nick does not play the game is uncalled for. He, like me, could simply not have this problem. He is also not the programmer. Hopefully programmers can come up with something to make everyone happy. Doubt it.
