    Can we get a "suspect for botting" option for replays?

    I've been a casual player for around two weeks now and have a farmer base setup, but I keep seeing these attacks that make literally no sense for any human to ever do and they've happened a lot. Also Google'd for bots and there's already plenty of them that will automatically raid for you and in some of the videos it looks exactly like what they did to mine.

    Example of this which I've got a few replays that look like this(they lost completely not even one star);

    If you look at the Bot sites they all have in common the strategy's and there's some options like "attack from one side only" "prefer one side" etc, along with the fact they'll usually always overkill with the amount of units they use. (Such as some guy using all 100 of his archers instead of just 40 to achieve the same effect)

    If there's a option to report players its not very easy to get to by going to the settings. There should be a option in one of the hot topics with a way to submit a in-game replay and after enough reports for a player they'll eventually be escalated into being reviewed.

    Sadly, its hard to know. The way I prefer deploying troops is the way that I've seen bots do it. 4 finger drop on each side.

    If you see the time run out for no reason, they may be modding.

    Some people may abuse this to get people banned.Also, why introduce the whole clash community to modding when only a fraction knows? The idea came from the goodness of your heart, but this won't do much good.

    Because the people that want to mod are already modding. One google result and they've already got access to a one click download and bam you're now done. That's also why I added the "accumulated" reports so it won't be abused and you could do it like how Dota2 is, you have set number of reports, every successful report you get a bonus one back with the original.

    This also has a extreme impact on clan wars seeing as somehow they've manage to give the ability to do a preview raid that lets them setup a perfect 3 star on the real attack.

    For the people who didn't know about such things, you just introduced them to it.

    That is one of reasons talking about that isn't allowed on the forums:

    Discussion or promotion of products, free gem, or third party gem sites, competitors' games, illegal activities, music/intellectual property piracy is strictly prohibited. This includes any discussions to h a c k, exploit or run any Supercell games outside officially supported platforms.

    A suggestion is a suggestion, I didn't see it to not be suggested on the list and it's not a discussion on "what ones the best" but a complete turn around of "can we get X to help combat it?". There's already people quitting because of the advantages you can get of using it and the chances of not having a single modder in a clan war is close to zero.

    If they're going for the "we'll take our time with handling the issue privately and ban anyone who even has the audacity to point out it exists" approach company's take like Riot, Jagex, Trion you're going to regret it like they have.

    And for saying that I've introduced maybe a dozen or so people to it when you have a result like this;

    That's a drop in a ocean.

    it will be hard for the developers to check this since 100% of the time people will use this button for all the wrong reasons (unable to win, hates the name, troll etc.) aside from the time spent playing it will be hard to detect.

    since most of the reason they use the mod is to stay online to protect your self from attack. it is feasible to have the XXhours force logoff (6 hrs is currently implemented i think) and have a 10 minute break where in you cannot log in. Why? this will render the mod useless in terms of protecting your reso since every Xhours you will surely be attacked.

    about the TS proposal if SC will be so rotten like some game developers we know *@Kick!@~Ey3!* they just ban players with/without reason just to unload server lag and suffice frequent reporters appetite

    Although this issn't a much discussed topic on the forums, i'm pretty sure SC is aware of the growing group of people using these features. Up till now they've done prevention without the help of other players like us. Unfortunatly there's no concrete information on how many people are using these features so we won't be able to know if these measures are helping or not.

    In case they decide to ask us for help to get rid of these fake-players we should aid them in any way possible, a ''report'' function is one way to do it. However as many have stated before me, this feature could be abused.
    The only way to solve that issue is to make every person aware that the person reporting a specific user will also get assessed for abusal of this feature.

    Meaning that using the ''report'' feature comes with risks, and possibly gets you warned or suspended in case you use it wrong or try to abuse it. This way people will only report a player when they're 100% sure they are doing something wrong.

    Only problem here is, who's gonna review all the reports? it will take an army of specialists to keep up with the incomming reports. And hiring a small army of specialists takes time and money. Unless SC would ask for volunteers like you and me, that would help but not everyone is a specialists on this topic =P

    Some games have found a great way to deal with that though, they use a ''Tribunal'' or ''Jury''
    When an account gets an X amount of reports, 3 or 5 anonymous players who don't know eachother get called for jury duty, those players read all the reports, get to see replays, get to see the account and get to vote ''guilty as charged'' or ''not guilty''
    this system will filter most of the bad accused and leave only a select few cases that will follow through to the game specialists that decides if the accused is really guilty. And if that's the case the account can be warned/suspended/banned.

    This will take the load of SC and gives trustworthy players the chance to prove their value to SC.
    SC could easily remove players from the randomised Jury-Duty list or keep them in the routine if they are happy with their services.

    It will take some time to get this up and running, and it will need some tweeks in the process of perfecting the system. But when it works, the gaming experience will improve and balance & justice will get restored.

    Yeah sorry it's a rule 6 breach, I have to close this, sorry.

    But this is a suggestion that I made and others supported when we were with SC recently.
