wall destroyed by wbs but giants would not retarget at all and went for the sweepers outside... how could they possibly be closer than the wizard tower?!

Only reason would be if you destroyed that defense before you broke the walls towards the wizard tower. I too hate the AI at times xD, wish i could manually control my troops lol.

yes there was a defense in front of that wt but wbs make troops retarget... I don't understand why the giants totally ignored the broken wall like 5 tiles away from them and went all the way around to hit the sweepers smh

That happens. Most likely your giants were already targeting the air sweeper and walking towards it before your wallbreakers broke the wall. Just part of the game that's been around forever
