Low trophies offered..how?

I'm currently pushing to champs. At 2937 and it seems all the bases similar to mine have horrible rewards for winning. I'm seeing near max th9s and it offers 1-6 trophies with mid 30s if I lose.. This doesn't seem right? How does coc determine the trophy payout?

The lower trophy award means you are closely matched, or you are attacking a weaker opponent. Attack an opponent that is stronger than you, the trophy rewards will be higher.

Trophy offers are completely based off difference in trophies between attacker and defender.

You are getting closer to the top of the pyramid as far as th9s go. This means that it is much more likely that you will find someone below you then above you. Therefore the trophy offer will be low.

Getting to champs you will either need to be extremelly patient waiting for high offer th9s, hit lots of them for few trophies, or start hitting th10s.

I found I could generally 2 star weak-mid th10s using govaho which is how I was pushing. Many people prefer loonion for 1 star and staying online between attacks.

I thought that was how it is supposed to be..but I'm seeing max defenses 15/15 heroes and full legos with 5 available trophies..so that's not the case

Thanks for the link webbie..so it is determined by the difference in trophies between the attacker and defender. That makes more sense

Yah, it's tough to stay in champ as a th9 because most of your th9 offers are going to be from sub 3200 so you'll see a lot of 1-5 trophy offers and every time you log you get hit for 1-11. (found this to be true from 2900 or so to 3200 but it gets worse as you go up).. you just got keep hitting next hope you get a snipe to boost your gold and every once in a while you'll get a random 30+ trophy th8 o.0

I pushed to champs two weeks ago as a TH9 so I know what you mean. Here's a thread that might be helpful if you're a numbers person:

I know some forumers say it's because of the difference in trophies between you and your opponent- there's more than that though. A lot of the bases I hit for 5-15 trophies had 200-300 trophies fewer than me. I think the equation in the above thread seems pretty accurate.

A bit off-topic, but on my push, I hit only TH9's- did a lot of nexting. I saw some very weak Th9's worth 25+ trophies (and two TH8's worth 28 each) while a lot of maxed TH9''s offered 1... maybe two trophies. I know others have used balloon/minions to 1-star TH10's- I just started using this and while you have to find to right base, I can tell you it works.

That data in the link is so inaccurate when it comes to how many trophies you can earn on a raid, and how many you lose when attacked.

Strength/weakness of bases have nothing to do with trophies. Trophies offered are based around the amount of the opponents trophies related to yours
