Purchasing shields, re: cool down?

Hi there,

if I gem a 7 day shield, can I also gem a one or 2 day shield at the conclusion of the 7 day shield? Or are all the Gemmable shields on the same cooldown timer?

I actually want to know. I do not think there is any time throughout the course of the game where buying a shield is ever necessary. Please enlighten me as to when one should use gems to buy a shield - particularly a 7 day shield.

That way we can all be better players together.

Just throwing this out there. People trophy push to really high trophy amounts. To the point if they have something to do, (taking a vacation for example) they will buy a shield to protect their trophy case.

I'm pretty sure serious trophy pushers buy 1 and 2-days shield everytime they can, so they can relax a little.
As for 7days shield they can still be purchased under 4,1k cups which is quite high. Maybe OP wants to stay that high while for 7+ days he can't/won't play

I don't know why somebody wouldn't buy shields the most they can when trophy pushing.

I bought a 7 day shield at my th9 when I started my last king level. Quite frankly I was burnt out after doing the last 5 levels of each hero in just under 8 weeks.
