The damage is low, but the extra 400 HP does make them a pretty decent upgrade. And you do have 2 upgrade levels on the x-bows at TH9 so getting one out of the way earlier isn't a bad idea.Originally Posted by DarkeFyre
Personally I like the WT upgrade as it helps with 2 of the biggest farming attacks you'll see against you which is Loonian and GiBarch.
Go for the teslas since they haven't been maxed for the previous TH level. They do the most damage & are the most useful point damage defence IMO. Also they take a lot of time to get done so start working on them asap.

They were maxed for previous level all are 6's except the new one which is a level 4...does that change your recommendation?
I recommend splash damage and teslas.
what I did first was build xbows (at that time i wasnt aware of war weight) after i found out they stayed at lv1.
Then I upgraded my wiz towers, mortars, teslas and air defence.
I was upgrading my troops as i was i went.
Then started on walls, got them all to lv9 and finished off training in my lab while doing this.
Next xbows went to level 2.
Now my plan is to upgrade the rest of my defences 1 by 1 and while im waiting for that to finish im working on walls to lv10.
once those archer towers and cannons are maxed my xbows will go to 3.
By the time my defences are maxed I should have 20/20 heroes and hopefully at least half lava walls
I may not be doing this the most efficient way but it works for me

Thank you, all of you, for responding to my post with your ideas. I decided to upgrade my 4th tesla to lvl 5 and upgrade some walls to 8. Lame but the walls got to go up and I don't want to climb the war map any higher for a bit.
