    Poison Spell against AQ

There was this base in my clan war that had 6 cc loons and I had the idea of doing a pentalaloon as long as I could get rid of the AQ. I wondered how many poisons i needed to take out the AQ, and the calculation said 3 (450 dmg for lvl 3 poison and enemy AQ had 1000hp), but when I asked my clanmate he said that it would not work and requires about 12 poison spells. He did not know why though... so I have come to the forums to ask if anyone knew the reason poison spells don't work effectively on the AQ and for some video showing it as I could not find any. I did not end up trying it myself since it was for a clan war attack and I did not want to risk a fail.

I thought one of the reasons you need more poisons might be that the AQ moves around her alter, but her movement radius is less than the poison radius and each of her movements is predictable if you watch her for 20 seconds while scouting the base.

You need rage more than you need poison to take out the queen. If you worry so much about her you can better switch to golaloon, to take her out first with an ad and laloon the rest.

Other things to discuss are if the queen is next to a defense (for loons to kill her) or not, then you'll want to rage the pups instead.

As for your question, I thought poison did half the damage to heroes, like heal spell which heals half the amount. Not really sure about this.

I didn't have my Bk, but i otped in war because we needed 1 more person. I wasn't looking to do a golaloon or anything of the sort because I noticed the cc loons and thought a straight up laloon would do better. I was just curious as to how the poison spell worked against heroes.

It seems it does reduced damage, but I'm looking for some proof or some numbers saying how much

I don't have proof, but anecdotal evidence from an attack I did just for fun in war after the victory was in the bag. I dropped a golem to attract the attention of the queen to hold her in place without aggroing her, dropped four L3 poisons, saw her health drop to about 75%.
Poison can be used to slightly slow down royals, but don't bother using it to try to dispatch them.

using poison on the queen is like using lightning on storages, just kill her with the other methods mentioned.
