Ground attacks rely much more on heroes than air ones. Assuming you're a th8, I would choose to use dragloon instead, you don't need your king for that.

TH8 attacks do not rely on heroes. In dragon attacks they do not matter apvery much except for shielding and for th8 hog attacks you will not need your king if there are no giant bombs instead and you cant do a king swap.
Everything at th9+ needs both heroes. Try to GoLaLoon without your heroes in the kill team. The same goes for GoHog. Well if you are in a bad clan you can still bring a 2 star with GoWiPe but no chance for 3 on decent bases and at th10 even 2 are hard.
