Would like to note you quoted the wrong guy :P anyhow indeed hogs have been viable since TH8. However, the OP is a TH9, so basically we're attempting to give him viable, easy strategies he could use and what he should upgrade based on that. I see your point, however. Most cases 2 stars can be considered failure, which is why I firmly believe that learning 3 star strategies early will help in the long run.

Whoops you're right. My point was that "just because everyone does a strategy" doesn't mean a strategy is one of the strongest in the game or that the OP should learn it because "everyone does it". I'm very early in TH9 so I haven't developed any TH9 three star strategies yet, but definitely agree with the goho/laloon/gowiwi/gowiva advice. Definitely not GOWIPE.

My point was everybody does it so there are very different ways to do it. If you read my earlier posts you would've seen I was advocating for gowiwi and lavaloonion. You should read the entire conversation before you insert your two-cents.

As far as gowipe, they are great attacks and, yes, many people use them in many different variations. I have had plenty of success and have got three stars plenty of times. Like I said previously, one must look over the base to see which attack would work best.

I'm a maxed th9 and have had plenty of success.Another statement I made is it depends on op's attacking style. Just because you don't like gowipe doesn't mean it's a bad attack. And there are plenty of circumstances where one could get 3 stars. But you should do whatever reflects your attacking style. Just don't count out gowipes.
