How do I search a player tag?

Unless they were your facebook friends or they see your forum post, you could try a message in clan chat, looking for members. You could also try asking for them in global. Its a long shot but worked for my clan once, another member was asking for an old member if anyone had seen him and he happened to be in the same global at the same time.

In Clash, you will almost certainly NEVER talk to somebody who has attacked you or that you have attacked (unless they or you join the others clan)

You will almost never be in a Global chat, with people you have met before .. it happens, but it is not very common.

If a person leaves a clan, that person will be GONE from the players that you can reach after 2 wars and a few extra weeks to delete mails in your inbox..

You can completely disappear from "people you know" in the game, if you remain clan less for a couple of weeks.

I have come to think of this as "deliberate" and "by design" ..

Well yeah, of course its a coincidence, thats why I said it was a longshot, but not impossible and if he is really wanting to find his friends and has no other way, it may be worth trying for him.

Norsk disagrees. I've met 2-3 forumers there, a few peeps from Savage Seven many times (the same people, not others), I once switched to English global and ended up meeting the same titan that I had a fun chat with on Norsk a few days ago.
