Maxing TH9: Is it worth it?

I just went to th10 about a month ago after ffully maxing th9. I can say that it's been the most painless transition to a new th that I've ever had.

Plus crushing th8s with high lvl heroes is alot of fun

I have one eatrhquake level to upgrade and I will have a completely maxed th9....but still have no plans on pushing the button. Having way too much fun just creating whatever army I have a whim to make. Helps that I already have a th10 but 9 can be a lot of fun at the end.

My apologies. You must have missunderstood something. You are the one deceiving yourself. I'm afraid I can't do anything about that.

My experience is mine. Sharing it here in hopes of helping the OP decide the next move.
If you play the "max everything" game, your choice. Having a set of rules to dictate your world. If it helps you wake up every morning, no problem, but don't come here and say my experience is a lie. We are in the same boat, although we view the ocean in different ways.

No offensive argument here. I simply hope you break free from the iron fist gripping you, because reasoning like that will only hurt you. There are 7 billion+ people on earth. There are equally many worlds, although it is the same planet. If you go around thinking your world is the right one, how are you going to develop?

Based on my current TH10 experience, I don't think its worth it to max TH9 completely. Infernos and better loot in TH10 are 2 major things. I don't know how most people farm but my TH10 account is the only one which can consistently get >1mil gold per hr while my TH9 account is lucky to break 1mil/hr, both unboosted

Hmm I want to max my th9 completely have been planning on it but I'm gonna be finished lavas in a week or less got 10 more Lvls of heroes to do i do enjoy th9 but am still not sure want I want to do once my lavas are done completely I will decide I just want to be part of the club who has the patience to max Th9 and it should make the transition a lot easier to TH10.

Here's my position on whether to max out your Town Hall 9 or go to Town Hall 10. If you are just playing the game for fun and do not war often or are not serious about war then go for it. But if you enjoy warring and you are very serious about war I would only move up if you are competent enough to consistently 3 star th9s. If you can't 3 star a base of your strength as a town hall 9 then it will only be harder as a town hall 10 and you're only going to be a hindrance to your team.

I maxed my TH9 and stayed there for almost a month before coming to TH10 and I started a mini in hopes of rushing that to TH9 for the TH9 war attack options.

That's how much I enjoyed maxed TH9 for warring.

The transition to TH10 for wars was seemless. As a maxed TH9 I spent a lot of the latter stages of my TH9 wars hitting TH10s without freeze.

This meant war wise I haven't had to wait till freeze was a good level start being useful in wars, in fact I haven't even used freeze yet.

I haven't even built infernos yet and I have had maxed cap storages for the most of my time in TH10 because the builder upgrades take so long and I still don't get attacked.

So if you want to go to TH10 for those shiny infernos and freeze, if you have a decent TH9 base/heroes and attack skills you don't even need those.

I maxed out TH8 completely (walls, dark troops, traps and whatever else people usually exclude from their personal definition of "max") and came into TH9 with 5 builders and a good amount of resources.

The last 6 months have been a smooth ride (not a struggle to obtain resources) and of course my buildings are maxed out as well as my troops (also the dark ones) .. ok, I do have 1 spell level left on Poison and EQ (110K DE) . but my Heroes are both upgrading (19&16) atm. My side project now is walls

I really enjoy the last phase of a Town Hall level, where you only really have to concentrate on one or two things.. at TH9 those things are usually WALLS and HEROES.

I fully expect to stay at TH9 until I really can't upgrade ANYTHING anymore and until now, I've not had any problems collecting enough DE during the time it takes for a Hero to upgrade. I am not squashed by TH10s .. there are smaller fish in the sea .. and there will continue to be smaller fish, as long as people rush to TH9 or TH10 too damn early :-)

the question is is going to th10 worth it. my clan mate shared an epic replay of him farming as a th10. but im kinda worried that it wont always be that way.
