Maxing TH9: Is it worth it?

I am completely maxed except for a few more lvl 9 walls and BK/AQ are 14. Would it be wise to get them to 30 and work on lavas or is lvl 9 walls and 15 heroes acceptable to move up to TH10?

Yes, it's worth it.
With lvl 9 walls, u r okay and u can move to TH 10.
Most Clashers advise that u have at least lvl 20 heroes before moving to TH 10.
EDIT:
If you decide waiting and upgrading your heroes to lvl 20, well, this is 42 days and during this period you can do a good amount of lavas.

IMO, no. I couldn't stand getting wrecked by TH10s all day and not having those infernos to protect. Also didnt want to waste time with an idle lab, builders, and stockpiling elixir (before elixir walls).

If you have the patience just grinding walls and heroes all day, by all means go for it. Also, DE is much easier to get as a TH 10.

It depends on what you value. If you value your time, and don't want builders sitting there doing nothing, then I'd say press ahead, but if you don't mind it, stay.

I will be maxing have 90 walls left to take to lava. king is on his way to 22 and queen is lvl 20. to me it is worth it so that when i go to th10 i will not even have to think about walls or heros untill i get the new toys up and going, and can use the heros to help me get it. just my two cents

I have all my defences maxed only thing left is my heros and walls, now walls I know I can get because gold and elixir is easy to come by while de is not and I have no clue how people expect me to get 60k de and keep it as a th9 just to get my queen up one measly level let alone another 4 just to 15 so I'll max walls but not heros, besides apperently getting de is easier as a th10

If you are a part of an active and very serious / dedicated war clan, then maxing out your heroes is definitely something your clanmates will appreciate in the long run. (In the short run though, you might have to sit out of a few wars which will really suck.)

As for walls... Let me tell you an interesting point. Max wallbreakers, under a rage spell, can blow up any level wall in one hit with the exception of zaps (lv11 walls).

It's worth upgrading at least 50% of your walls to lv10 in order to have a strong base core, but the ones on the outside honestly don't matter that much.

You aren't completely nor halfway maxed.
Your base has only reached about 32% in progression towards your Town Hall Level 10 upgrade.
To utilize is to prioritize so this is where time management plays the biggest role as you are the engineer.
At Town Hall Level 9, your project includes lava walls & level 30 heroes, which I have left last on my priority list.

• Your barracks aren't maxed.
  This includes ALL of your troops level-wise as well as housing space.
• Sub-divisions aren't maxed meaning traps, bombs, walls, air sweepers.
  This includes proper placement, as your base design is the foundation of your base.

If you think about it realistically, there is less frustration as it is a building project so it will take a lot of time to completely max your base.

Success is the inevitable outcome while obstacles are eminent.

Depends on how long you want your TH10 experience to be. Staying as a TH9 and doing lavas and heroes will be an advantage when you move up, but it is very time consuming and if you simply play the game for the fun, upgrading won't affect you much at all.

I upgraded to TH10 last christmas, with a full set of skulls, and lvl 15/12 heroes I think.
My lab is maxed, my defenses are maxed, and I am in no rush to get my legos to lavas. I'm happy to say my clashing experience will continue for a while
