    Hero placement!

Looking for opinions. I'm about to get to th9 and am wondering if it's good to have the heros altars near the core, outside, or spread out from side to side for the base? I've never given it much thought till now since I'm about to get my Queen.

Keeping them outside isn't a good idea unless you want to keep them on sleep instead of defending your base.

People who keep their Heroes spread out on the sides.... Or you can say, in the first layer of walls is to stop the enemy from getting 50% through Barching.

Keep them in core will help distract the enemy troops for a longer time if you have your De storage in the Core. Also, the queen being inside the core, can shoot down enemy troops pretty easily without them harming her.

I'd recommend keeping your Heroes either in the Core or inside two layers of walls... Enough to keep them from easily being Lure-able & killed during the start of the attack.

Mine were outside due to the fact that they were always sleeping or upgrading when I would get attacked.

It always depends on your base layout. You should consider following things at th9:

    For farming bases:
1.) The queen has very much dps, you having her in the core means she will hit the giants really hard.
2.) If placed directly on a wall, she will always jump the wall for defending, so make sure she still has another wall for protection. Dont place her in front of a big compartment.
3.) If you do not center her, there is a chance the attack can avoid her.
4.) Having her completely centered means you have to offset your de storage. On a symmetrical base I would prefer having the de storage centered with queen and cc directly nearby.
5.) If you do your last attack while farming and get you queen killed, she will not defend. In this case it is better to swap her with an archer tower on the outside.

    For warbases:
1.) When doing a GoLaLoon attack the target is always to get 1 ad, the cc troops and the queen with 1 golem or 2 ads with 2 golems. So make sure this is not possible. Either offset the ads from the queen (non symmetrical base, have your queen centered (only works for lower level heroes, higher level heroes will still be able to reach her) or spread the ads out more and place the queen between and heavily guarded (also does not work against high heroes).
2.) When doing a GoHog attack the target is to get the queen and trip as many giant bombs (especially doubles) as possible, so keep your traps on the other side of the queen.

Awesome breakdown! Thanks a lot that was great!
