This edition’s headline: Report from the Mods from their trip to Helsinki
Mods Report From Helsinki
Recently, Daddy has made a thread discussing and reporting what went on in Helsinki. The mods met all three game teams and forumers were given a quick insight about the game Smashland. Though that wasn't all, as Daddy told us that there was going to be a huge 'Game Changer' this year for Clash. Also to note was that the Support team has improved for Clash, and ideas and changes were brought up to the devs for all three games.
Optional Update
Yesterday (25th of August) saw Supercell release an optional update to the game. This update was to change the speed of troop/sell responsiveness in battle. Supercell urge all users that still have these issues report it to them thus it'll be fixed.

Top Suggestions of this edition
The Clash of Clans News Team will post two suggestions that stood out the most on the forums during that period in every edition. These ideas are heavily supported by the community and deserve to be recognized here.
No Troops Selected while nexting in PvP
The first idea of this news edition will talk about a forum request for SuperCell to remove the automatic selection of the first troop when going into battle in the PvP. It happened to almost every player that they misclicked and deployed a troop instead of clicking on the Next button, so this idea comes in help to stop this from happening.
With this addition, when going into battle, no troops will be selected so in case of a misclick, the game won’t deploy any troops because none are selected, thus fixing the issue of accidentally starting a fight.
23 Hours of Preparation Day
The second idea presented in this news edition will not suggest any new feature in the game, but it will ask for a change into the duration of the Preparation Day from the Clan Wars.
This suggestion was created by a forumer, ClasherTimothy123, to suggest a decrease of the duration of the Preparation Day from the Clan Wars, from the current settings of 24 hours to 23 hours. This suggestion wants to prevent clans from constantly delaying their war time. The amount of time taken to find an opponent delays the wars every day, that clans end up taking a day of break to reset their starting war hour. This suggestion would give an additional of one hour to balance the time taken to find an opponent, and possibly keeping the wars at a constant hour.
