I don't think anyone's spamming, You've already been given the best advice, either:
1. Put your TH out and hope someone snipes it.
2. Accept you will get smashed up as a TH8 in champs.
3. Drop down to gold/silver and come back up when you've done some upgrading.

You are th8 in champs. So shouldn't expect anything less than that. Drop down or live with it. Nothing supercell can do to "fix" it.

When I was at titans and I see th9 with 2 cups offer I will go for it as those 2 cups are guaranteed whatever the design is. For a th9 pushing a th8 for him is as th9 is for me. So you will be 3 starred as long as the attacker knows attacking basics

supercell could fix it by changing it to the way it was before the matchmaking update. I have a couple snipers in my clan and they are getting matched with people 1000 trophies below them. sometimes they win 0 trophies on defense. I never saw anything like this before the matchmaking update
