Snipe for 6 hours or more. TH Outside. Gain as much cups as you can to counter what you have/will lost/lose.
Last 100 is brutal. Fork over 50 gems and boost with drags and rage in SF- you'll get there, almost guaranteed. You'll be compensated with 2000 gems in return so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I'm a Th9 & when I pushed to Champs, till 3100, it wasn't that hard but after that, I boosted twice & the amount of trophies I gained, I would lose them again.
So, I started sniping & in less than 2 hours, I was in Champs! That's the simplest way of earning the last 100 trophies IMO.
The only thing that made me wanna turn to sniping was getting sniped by Th7s who made it to Champs before I did.

The best way to go up in leagues is to win multiplayer battles.
LVL 120 | TH9 | BK30 - AQ30
Put your town hall out so you only lose a few trophies per snipe. Then just use whatever reliable 2 star strategy you have got.
