Fun fact- lvl8 army camps used to have 1,400 HP before it was reduced to 500.

I remember that. It was so difficult to destroy them. People complain about how they nerfed barch by increasing the hitpoints on other structures, but by reducing them on the camps, I don't think much has changed.

The HP of army camps was initially very high as back then if your army camp was destroyed, all your troops in that camp would disappear. Obviously it wasn't a great idea and they 'fixed' it during the Halloween update and made it permanently afterwards. Then it took a while till the HP was brought down as they were worthless to be destroyed afterwards.
