Simply request 2 lvl 2 witches in your CC (as far as you don't have them as a TH8), this should make the difference between a 90sth and a 100% ;-)

It is only a two star strategy, but can be used to 3star TH8. It's easier if you bring a loon/hog snipe to clear up last defences. However if you want to 3 star TH8s use Hogs! It's much easier!

I would do hog virants but my hogs are only LVL 3

Still debating it in my head. One side of me says, "When you get LVL 4 hogs, you'll smash in wars at TH8 and you'll have to go 2 months min w/o war if you rush!" While the other side of me says "Rush! Level 6 GiBArch is WAY better farming then level 5 GiBArch!"
