Best army for TH8?

Hey!

I upgraded to TH8 a few weeks ago and I haven't attacked yet. I've got PEKKAS and Valkyries. What do you recommend me to attack?

Mass hogs

War or farm?

Farm > barch, gibarch, bam, whatever suits you
War > mass drags. you can start using hos at level 3 (better 4). Gowipe when you get golems

Level 3-4 hogs are the most consistent 3 stars.

I do 30 hogs, 50 archers and it ends up a full wipe every time. Just make sure you attempt to spot big bomb, detonate them early where you can, and DO NOT bunch your hogs up.

Dragons are good vs lower level TH8s or ♥♥♥♥-designed TH8s.

GoWiPe is a rare 3 star on a close to max TH 8 (defenses, not including skull walls) unless, again, it is a ♥♥♥♥ base. It's a VERY consistent 2 star though. GoWiPe doesn't get good until TH9 with jump spells

My farm army is almost the same as my TH9 - 19x4 archers, 3x4 giants, 3x4 wall breakers, 2x4 baloons, 3 zaps. Works quite well for farming - be it sniping collectors or getting deep in the base for some DE.

Bring two healing and one rage for the clancastle (inlcuding a poison for castle), make sure you funnel your golems, pekkas and king correctly and destroy outer buildings/defenses with remaining wizards.

That has more to do with 90% of players than the units used in the attack. Gowipe has it's place but it still must have the correct # of each unit and proper unit deployment for every base.

Plus, If I had to do th8 over again and could only pick one attack composition it would be gowipe with back end hogs.
