I know some of y'all can relate. When I have enough gold or elixir to upgrade a building or wall or troops. I never know what to do and sit there starring at my screen for 5 minutes deciding what I should do. In your opinion, what is it that's more important when I'm sitting at 5 million gold? Walls or buildings?

unless you only have 1 builder then save it for walls

It totally depends on situation. There is no one answer.. Say you are going to be on that th for months. Upgrading heroes walls or lab catching up.. Whatever, you have plenty time to do defenses, then I'll upgrade wall and do less defense at a time and have more active defense for defending.. Also never keep lab free

Honestly man I used to have this problem I over came it by just upgrading some random thing and logging off
Why do farmers always revenge us fellow Town Hall Snipers?
I used to have this problem back before I started planning what I wanted to upgrade in advance. Try planning your upgrades and you will avoid this in the future.
I would recommend doing some walls and leave some gold for a defence upgrade that way u do 2 things at once without the risk of loosing gold to an attack
