Hi , I was just wondering how some of you mature 18+ clans keep out the kiddies? Do you ask them a specific question when they join that helps prove their age? What other techniques do you use? Thanks![]()

Don't be dumb, you can't keep out the kids, because there is no way of confirming their age bracket. I suggest that you recruit "mature" players. Because one could be by law be an adult but have the personality as a child. With that being said anyone could lie about their age, and specific questions don't determine age, it only determines their knowledge and maturity level.

We ask where they are from, a well trained kid knows never to tell a stranger where he lives.
"The reason that we are all here is because we ain't all there!"
There are plenty of children over 18 out there.
If you can't tell if they are 18+ or not by just talking to them, I think it doesn't really matter what they answer to any question. If they don't like the language you use, they can always leave, and it was their choice to join a 18+ clan in the first place.
The maturity of a person's thinking & personality plays a more important factor IMO... My clan had members who claimed they were 20+ but behaved like 12 (eventually their true age was only 14-16), but on the other hand, we had a member who was 12 but voiced his opinions like a mature adult (although you could tell he was a kid at times)...
So the only way to tell is by interacting with new members.... Ultimately it's whether they can click with the clan![]()
Interviews. Make sure they bring two forms of identification with them.

Ask if they know their social security number. I'm sure a kid doesn't know it, if there are under the age of 14 then they may not know what that is.
