Clan Accepting Only TH3-TH6 Players, How to Screen for the Best War Players?

I have built a war clan comprised of only active TH3-TH6 players to gain an advantage in war.
(The idea is that we will always be matched with less active clans, and that has been true.)
So far we have won all wars, achieving over 130 stars in 45 vs 45.

However, there are always a few players who miss wars.
I try to incentivise war participation by promoting those who achieve 6 stars in wars, but still can't get to 90% participation rate like some other best clans have.

Since TH3-TH6 players are relatively new, the information on their profile page is limited.
When they join it's not easy to tell if they are war players.
I have tried to accept people based on war star record, but for these new players the numbers are usually less than 10, not a very reliable indication of war skills.

Should I look at number of seasonal attacks or friend-in-need numbers instead?
I want to have a clear criteria for our Elders to approve someone that have good potential in wars.

Recruiting people at any level and particularly low townhall levels is a gamble.

Higher townhall levels at least have stats from months and months of playing but they can still be terrible attacks, not follow clan strategy, not attack, leave, etc.

Lower level has all those potential issues plus no real data. At th6 you can start seeing how much they farm, what troops they have upgraded, etc.

My suggestion would be just look to grow slowly, a couple new players at a time, boot players that don't follow clan rules (war troops, both attacks, etc). Slowly you will create a good core of players by attrition.

At that townhall level you should be able to easily be able to make up for a couple people not attacking.

There's no foolproof way to know if a member will be good in war before they join, but looking at their number of seasonal attacks is a good way of seeing how active they are. High Gold Grab and Elixir Escapade achievements also point towards an active player. You're best off letting in players who look good, see how they do for a few days and if they're no good you can kick them then.

On a side note, I have a maxed th6 mini account (just walls and a couple of upgrades left) which is currently clanless if you're interested in recruiting.

They must have some sort of way to keep stuff active aha

What do you do with the active players after they get th7 and dont get dragons fast enough?
The only way this system can work if you have a farming clan with your main accounts and a war clan with your minis.

Interesting. Do you know the name of that clan?

Yes but I'm not sure how the "name and shame" rules on this forum applies

Anyway just set custom clan search minumum level: 8, you don't have to search between many options

Have rules and enforce them. Make both attacks mandatory if they opt in. If they can't make both attacks, opt out of the war. If they don't attack, sit them a war. If they mess it up again, give them the boot.

if youve won all wars, like your post says, doesn't seem like you have an issue.

You have won all your wars so I don't really see the issue. You just have to ensure your clan has a sufficient core raiders that can cover those who don't raid. Take for example on my mini account we recently had 3 perfect wars these were 10 v 10 wars, but only 5 of our players attacked since the other 5 were inactive.

But we knew those accounts were inactive, but they were lower than our mini's so drew lower opponents which were easy enough for our minis to cover. You can also do the same, all you have to do is recruit lower TH's like level 4-3 THs so if they don't raid, you will have a TH5-6 that can cover for them.
