So the guy is just a simple war donkey base. Clans use them to skew the war search in their favor.

The idea is to get a TH10 with max troops and spells and nothing but a single level 1 cannon. Thus the base weighs very little in the war search. Some ask why not just use a standard TH5 or something and its because war donkeys have max number of troops, max spells and offense so they will be the bottom player in the war clan and be able to smoke anyone down at that level assuring 6 easy stars for the clan and only giving up the 3 stars on his base.

I know many of you know this information already but some do not.

This is more and more common and I know several people that have these as their second account.

I don't think its fair offhand ... but whatever ... play how you want! :-)

Wars are easy, farming is hard. It's just a different way to play the game.
Know the rules and use them to your advantage. I still go after tough bases, I can just aim a lot higher than my opposite.

What??LOL. I farm a lot and it doesn't even come close to being as hard as war attacks. Yeah war is easy if you are a gowipe 2 star attacker. Even then, how is that easier than farming??

This guys has only 1 defense and its a lvl 1 cannon
He says in war he gets match up with th5 so he can always wreck.
He is also in champion.
I think its really cool and you don't see a base like his everyday.

We ran into this recently. Went into war with about six TH5 rest TH8 and TH9. We got matched against a lvl 6 clan (we were 4 at the time) and 5 out of their bottom 6 were TH9 with no walls and 1 cannon but heroes and upgraded troops camps and cc. Our TH5 many of whom were new to war didn't stand much of a shot vs. 35 max level cc troops and heroes. They of course smoked all of our TH5 on first attacks and then cleaned TH8 with second attacks. Definitely engineering the matchmaking. I don't agree with the philosophy since I think wars should be a challenge whether you win or lose but we are all free to do the same so I can't say that it is unfair.

Similar thing just happened to us in our last 20v20. At the bottom we had th4s matched with defenseless th7s (one had a King, but the others did not), and at the top they had 4 th10s to our 2. Of course, they got zero stars on our #1, and we absolutely could have won with a few cleanup stars... if it weren't for the fact that we had 5 unused attacks in the middle ranges. I don't know what happened to us that war, because that is not typical for my clan.

War is about winning, not being nice. I'd rather be a winning bully than a dead nice guy.

If this was real life war, then I'd agree. But since it's a game, this borders on gamesmanship/abuse of game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage.. which I'm sure most people here will agree, is a bit off really.
