Could be some reasons for it. Could be that's where the loot is and they still have troops to upgrade. Could be they are heavy troop donator for war and that's where the elixr is. Might even be they don't really care about trophy level.

He is implying they have a short man's complex and need to feel good about themselves by mopping up on weaker players.
I dont necessarily agree, Im not maxed but pretty strong TH10 and I go where the loot is. Usually between Crystal 1 and Master 2 is my preferred range but I have clan mates that are almost completely max TH9s or early 10s that had maxed TH9 and prefer gold for whatever reason.
OP must just be sore because he got wiped out recently.
If they're completely maxed, then what else they gonna do? Perma-push?

Go to low champs OP, that'll drive you crazy. Fully maxed bases lurking in low champs, all storages and collectors full.....and usually protected....and probably worth 1 trophy cos they don't seem to appear until you're in at least the 3600s
