Airsweepers did nerf air attacks. But not to the point that it is not usable. It was balanced so that spamming troops don't get you 3 stars. Try 7 golems raids being great with me for several month for me. Watch youtube videos as there great examples on how to do it.

Balancing attacks is done to make us use more different startegies instead of everyone using one attack strategy. You can see more GoWiPe 3 stars attacks now. Because people are making new mixes of troops for specific targets. Like adding 3 balloons to take out 3 cannons or anything that includes 1 for 1 tactics.

Whenever the game changes we need to change with it. Staying with the old "nerfed" strategies won't takes us anywhere. Good luck and hope you find this useful

Also, 3* air raids are still possible, just harder. GoLaLoon is the best way. Spam QuatroLavaLoon won't get you anywhere.

Why do people use the term spam? Because it's an easy attack to perform you have to slap an ugly lable on it? By the way you can just "spam" quatro lavaloon on th9s easily.

Because you spam the troops in the same way on every base with little consideration for anything. It only works on weak th9s now.

Think about it this way- We all get buffs for defense

On a serious note, we have a perfect mix (at least at Th9, if I was TH10 I'd be singing a different tune) between ground and air attacks in war. GoWiPe, Drags and GoHo are equally viable at TH8 (at least from what little I've seen of TH8 wars), and at TH9 and 10 (top level only at TH10) we literally use both ground and air at the same time, as you've probably seen from hybrid attacks. I will admit, pure air seems a little overwhelming, but at least we still have our hounds in the first place, right?

Plus all we see nowadays in CC is hounds or drags, so that's a thing

I watched a bit of that Nordic clash tourney on YouTube and they were cheering 2 star 60% attacks with max troops, heroes, spells.

Attack needs a buff - New troop would be nice.

Nope it's because they had 15 mins to plan - in some cases less due to everyone only revealing their base at the last minute, and then there's the intense pressure.
