Ha-ha funny but this guy may not clash much and is unaware. Lightning spells and earthquake spells no longer damage storages. You must raid storages with skill now. Good luck.

as mentioned, check the latest update. All storages are unable to be hit by any kind of spell damage

Yes, it is no longer to possible to damage any of the 3 types of storages (gold, elixir, and dark elixir) with any type of spell. The other people in this thread are simply toying with you by giving bad advice that won't do anything but waste your spells. The same update that added the dark spell factory also gave all storages a shield against all spell damage.

OP study harder in school. Physics 101. Glass (elixir and DE storage) are made of glass/transparent plastic. It's not a conductor for electricity/lightning.
Gold storage top - the golds are exposed, when lightning strikes, it channels the electricity to the ground. Grounding if you know what you study. Sort of like a lightning rod.

What you need to do is as others said earlier. Physics 101 again. Wet/Damp it with potions first. Then it'll work

Huh, must be a bug. But after doing about 2 hours of research at illuminardi.org/areyouserious????, I found out that you HAVE to drop a heal spell, Earthquake spell, and then your lightning spell. Apparently, the heal spell lowers the storage's shield, then the earthquake spell drives the small goblin guards out. Hope this helps!!! If it doesn't work at first, KEEP TRYING. THE SYSTEM IS KNOWN TO BE SLIGHTLY GLITCHY, HOWEVER IT WILL EVENTUALLY WORK.
