Ok- so I am one of the guys who occasionally will put teslas and bombs around my exposed town hall to see if I can get some trophies. On more than one occasion, my attackers will destroy my town hall and then proceed to draw out and kill my cc troops for apparently no reason and then resign. Is this a common way of saying 'screw you' for trying to get me?

With the new posion spell , it is fun to do it, sometime i also kill the heros or take all looot and leave the village at 39%

Yep, plenty of people do it. I'll set off all possible traps, pull CC, kill them and kill heroes.
It surely pisses of attackers who are there just to snipe Town hall. When i am on a TH sniping runs, and if i get a TH with teslas and traps, I always make sure that after destroying TH i will try to go for 2 or may be 3 star if i can. In my experience, no matter how well you trap the town hall, its always easily snipable , unless attacker has only brought few barchs or heroes only.

If I roll into a trapped TH, you can bet I will kill the TH, find every trap, kill the heroes, and make sure the xBows run until they are empty. That's the unwritten rule.

Why do you put your town hall outside in the first place? Just use a hybrid or trophy base if your going to be a huge jerk about it. You waste people's time and resources doing this. this is just annoying.Originally Posted by JayMcPherson

It's quite common for players to do this to you, since you have your TH out and you have it trapped. Having the TH outside is meant to be a way to benefit both parties, you receive a free shield to protect your loot, and they receive a few trophies to help them push. Usually it's a win-win, but when you trap it, you break the "code" and therefore players will mess with you by killing cc & heroes, or just intended to snipe you but in stead they'll all-out raid you.
haha also, there are some guys that enjoy placing their th near a LOT of defenses, teslas around, traps, mortar range, xbows etc.. Then i just attack all over the opposite way get into the base take loot kill cc troops and leave with a shining 50% win
