So they got rid of the lightning spell being able to steal resources from the storages but the spell still works on stealing from collectors.
Not a big issue to me but is this something that should be made consistent?

it doesn't really pay off unless you zap level 5 or 6 dark drills (which I do when I have the chance)
I'm assuming that the real question you are proposing is one of consistency in the game mechanics. Why do they protect the DE storages from lightning and not the collectors. I'd have to guess using lightning on the DE collectors is a bad ROI, unless you have someone that has maxed the game for all Elixir upgrades and needs nothing but DE. Otherwise, it's a poor return on elixir investment.

My opinion is SC wants players to be more active to collect from drills/collectors/mines. If not, then you will lose it.
However, for active players keeping in storages, this is to make them happy not to get lightning.

You must be pretty desperate if you're using spells on collectors..
Could waste DE instead and drop some earthquake on grouped collectors/mines/drils......![]()
