Just opt out if you don't want to war.
I'm the leader of Centum Nexus and hardly ever war either, nobody blames me for it (I don't know why they even should)

I'm the leader of my clan, and had some similar feelings. Just warn them that you are taking a break to farm, and make sure to keep donating troops. No one minds. I'm the top guy in my clan, so they get easier wars when i'm out anyway!

opting out of wars in one thing and any leader should feel comfortable enough to Opt Out for any number of reasons
but.. skipping out on your clan to go farm with another clan is another monster entirely.

I think I'll stick with my clan (Unless we go on a 50 loss streak).
Lol its funny you made it sound like going to another clan is like che4ting on my girlfriend LOL xD. (BTW I don't have a Girlfriend yet)

I opt out to upgrade heros all the time, It's not a big deal to anyone in my clan. I still donate and help with war strategy.
It's your decision. I've opted out of wars before, but I still participate with high level war troop donations.
Given your ideas about rushing with your offense from the other thread, you'll be doing your clan a huge favor by opting out of wars to farm.
