I usually do the following queue for my barracks:
1: 1 healer, 7 wbs, 5 gobs, 5 archers, rest barbs
2: 1 healer, 7 giants, 5 gobs, 5 archers, rest barbs
3 & 4: 2 wizards, 4 giants, 5 gobs, 5 archers, rest barbs
Either dark barrack: 10 minions

I think you can use the same army composition, reduce the number of archers, goblins, and barbs, and hit easier targets. Let us know how it works out, and good luck!!

Ive been using my normal farming army and its been racking me up some DE bbq. i made 25k today which was sweet (started at 45k now about to hit 70k)

8 giants
12 wbs
30 gobos
rest archers.
it really was sweet. Idk if it was luck or what but stilll :3

I pulled a double yesterday because I was helping out our new feeder clan (20 hours straight, lol), so I was able to get 43 raids in.

Any chance of a few more videos? I'm particularly interested in seeing a bit more of your use of using the centralised CC to pull your attack quicker into the core.

Great Job on this thread! And thank you so much for your hard work - have learnt loads and haven't even had time to watch vids yet! Your CC plug-hole (as I've decided to call it) is such a great idea cant wait to try it. I am a fairly new player, since November and am 3/4 through th8 (which I'm determined to max out before ug) - my BK is currently lvl 4 and i just new it would be important to upgrade him as soon/fast as possible, even though it seems at this point to be a long/ hard slog - so thanks for making me feel I'm not alone with my instincts. Really look forward to your vids as my biggest de raid so far has been 1 500 - lol

Also kudos on your infinite patience in dealing with the sadly obligatory bîtçhy comments at the start of this thread (where do people find the time?) - i was about to give up this forum for good till you posted this so please please keep it coming.

I just did a 4140 DE raid just now, i'm still 16xx trophies, but slowly climbing up.
I just use my regular farming troops, the only difference with raiding DE is maybe a rage and/or jump spell thrown in.

44 gob, 32 barb, 60 archer, 12 giant/wb. King/queen when healed and not upgrading.

My last raid:

- Burger King reached lv 15 today, and immediately started upgrading for lv 16 after 2 battles (videos coming up next), 70k DE spent

- Archer Queen has 3.5 days left until Lv 14

- Started Golem lv 3 upgrade because if I don't use the DE now, I will be sitting on maxed DE for a day or 2 after a few days, 70k DE spent (might as well get all the DE upgrades out of the way now before upgrading heroes lv 23-24, since my current DE production outpaces DE usage. We need a bigger DE storage!)

DE remaining in the tank: 5K

First battle for my farmed lv 15 BK is shown below. Couldn't pass up 800k of loot though DE was low, and the BK didn't do much because the rest of the army is so powerful and the base is just too weak. It was really a walk in the park, hah:

I did test this with bigger amount of archers and without spells. The rage seems to be "mandatory" there to get the goblins really in there :eek: So I'm back to my old army and continue daddying places. Bit slower and can't do the spike attacks like that army can, but for me, much more fun Also, combining archers with a healer was as bad idea as did remember it to be... Well, got couple 1k+ dlixes from 1400-1500 area along with loads of gold. In few days will get the queen again upgrading Too bad someone took during the night 2k dlix with 10 dragons/3 rage so am +-0 on the looting

Yeah you gotta combine healers with lv 5 wiz and giants, as they have enough HP to survive while your healers heal.

25k per day was good, how much did you make per hour? Please be sure to subtract the DE income you got from your DE drills to do apple-to-apple comparison.

Thanks for your kind words! Yes I had the feeling about the heroes too, early on. I bought into the argument that they shouldn't be leveled due to their longer regen time, and I upgraded all my other DE troops first instead. Now I regret it! If I had started DE farming like this from day 1 (entering TH9), and constantly upgrading heroes, use excessive DE for troop upgrades, I would max out heroes and DE troops earlier!

That was an epic raid! I think the highest DE I got was 3.8k :/

Here is the 2nd battle for my lv 15 BK, and I would say he is definitely getting more and more like a beast! Much much stronger than lv 1 or lv 5 even. Without him, I would not have gotten all the loot or 3 star this base (I didn't get a 3 star technically because the timer ran out)



I also use 2-3 goblins to test their fight path before I release the rest of the goblins, because that is where I wanted them to go
