is this still a viable strategy for farming DE after the loot update? I've been trying it with decent results but most of Sharp's attacks shown are against TH8s. I'm aTH9 trying to farm in the Crystal 3 or 2 range before my trophy push next season, but I'm having a tough time when everyone I'm trying to attack is either a maxed TH9 or a TH10 with the dreaded disco ball infernos. I'm using 15 max giants, 3 max healers, 4 lvl 5 wbs, 10 lvl 5 wizzies, 12 lvl 2 minions, and the rest maxed archers and barbs. 1 rage spell, 1 jump spell, 1 lightning, 1 heal (usually just use the jump and rage).

There really are only 4 ways to farm DE:

Looning - Easy to use but less profit, 30 minute cook time
Giant-Healer-Wizard - Bit of thinking required, lots of profit, 30 minute cook time
Giant-Barch - Quite a but of of thinking required, decent profit, 20 minute cook time
BAM - A LOT of thinking required, less profit, 10-15 minute cook time

okay, thanks, that's pretty much what I thought - balloonian or Giant-healer-wiz. BAM has been insanely difficult to use for farming DE in my current trophy range b/c i'm usually going against max TH9s and 10s with the DE storage centralized. Speaking of trophy range, do you have any idea what the best DE loot range is for a TH9 after the update? I've been farming anywhere between 1950-2300 but I have no idea if that's actually the right range for me to be in for DE farming.

Well Shlomi in unity elite still uses it (th10 version) and he destroys any th9, basically never fails, no design really stops him and his profits are great, 2k+ each raid with 1 rage per raid. Although I would recommend an ipad as the deployment is really important which requires 3 fingers.
