which army,rating and tactic would you use?

Was near-max on my gold storage, so I decided to have some fun and go all out on a fairly well leveled th9, fairly similar to me in terms of defense, he had alot more nipple walls though.
Used 2 rage and 1 lightning.
But didn't expect a pekka to come out of my CC :eek:
Not like it matters though haha, since the pekka didn't enter in at all.

He probably made excess Wizards and needed to raid ASAP, so he just unloaded them on your clanmate's base. Happens all the time due to the huge number of Wizard donors competing in the morning. lol

Awesome raid dude, I can see that you got a lot of the tactics I talked about down and executed well in this raid. I think you should be able to raid DE with ease now (or semi-trophy push)

How you doing, sharp. Been following your DE farming closely, great thread.

I've been growing a bit concerned lately for my stockpiled 70k DE after watching your 'blitz' styled attacks against maxed bases. Haven't been hit by any serious attacks on DE lately but I'm sure more will turn up, and I want to be prepared. I'm curious as to what makes you hesitant to attack, and what bases you will/have failed against? Let's just restrict ourselves to TH9 designs here.


I'll just list out of few well known examples, just give me your opinion on the difficulty of getting the DE in your farming experiences. I'm currently using a slightly modified Hannibal

-Hannibal's with funnel/Kris (Exodias) mod
- TNT's anti- WB design.
-You own design and clanmates' Rega/Abrennan
-Various exploitation/ITD/iQuit member bases. Not going to name many but: baldie, spewks, pedro, gezze, squareb3ar etc.

Hehe, I don't want to talk about defense for DE until both of my heroes are at least lv 30. I don't want too many tough bases to raid DE out there right now. I am struggling to keep up with my heroes' ever-growing demand of DE!

Just a hint, read some of my recent video's commentaries... maybe you will find something...

I've recently been trying a variation of your army, with mild success on DE farming, but I seem to have a problem with getting fifty percent, thus making it difficult to maintain my trophy range. I've been using ten minions, two healers, fourteen giants, 24 barbarians and archers (of each), and six wizards. My clan can't support donations(though I'll be visiting Unity Elite soon) , so I'm wondering if there's a change I could make to get the extra few buildings for the fifty percent (I typically get at least 40-45%)?

I usually use 3 healers. But I can tell you that it takes practice to get good at a strategy. I been using WHM for a few weeks now and I have improved my DE farming performance noticeably - haven't tracked the exact data, but practice makes perfect. Just keep at it, and you will get better at this strategy

Another thing you can do is to snipe the TH while you farm that same base' DE, if situation allows it. I go up and down between 1500 and 1900 like a yo yo, and I don't worry too much about it. There are 2K DE bases below 1700, but just takes more NEXT pressing, that's all

Hey guys, it's been a while ! Any of you remember me ?
Well, I had busy things to do in real life over the past month, that's why I couldn't post and share anything.

But here I am now !
I'm pleased to see this thread which I contributed is still relevant and that people keep supporting it.

- So, what's new ?
My TH upgraded to level 9 like 4-5 weeks ago, I had a LOT :eek: of upgrades to do.
I decided not to maintain my 2 Heroes constantly upgrading since it would require 2 builders and I need them for other upgrades, at least for the first weeks of TH9.

During that period, ~80% of my raids were quick farming army with 15-16 minutes build time and ~20% with Unity's Giants/Healers/Wizz.
I was able to :
- maintain the Queen almost constantly upgrading, both Heroes are level 10 now
- constantly Lab searching (in order : Giants, Healers, and finishing Archers, next up : Minions and Barbs)
- keep decent amout of Gold/Elixir for defenses, camps, etc.

I will keep using this 80/20% Farming/Unity technique for 2 more weeks (until I have full level 6 troops + Minions 5) then I'll try to do exclusively Unity style and upgrade BOTH Heroes
