I wasn't as active yesterday and as always primarily farming gold (I do go all in if I see no gold but lots of DE), but perhaps that it the perfect opportunity to get as close to a real average number with BAM. See below my log from yesterday.

Just reduce 17.5 minuter per barrack with your calculation (total 70 minutes for 7 wizards), and I only bake wizards to donate when I sleep, so the time cost to me is negligible
Looking forward to your stats after testingI have incorporated your BAM strategy into DE hunting, and I call it WHM. It works really well though due to the bases I attack often have good AD, I have to release most if not all of the minions early while my army keeps the AD and wiz towers distracted.
Average of 3500 DE per hour, that is better than my current 3000 DE per hour using WHM.
Questions:
1. Did you use your heroes in these attacks?
2. How much gold were you getting per hour? I get about 300k per hour using WHM without using heroes, after deducting spell cost.
3. What is the fail rate (fail to get most of the DE or most of the gold) for the 5 hours? Were they included in the stats?
4. For the 0 DE loss battles, you did not use any minions, correct?
Great to see another way of getting DE fast, people should try this out and provide feedback

Nice guide. I tested it although I don't need DE for about 2 weeks. (Barbarian King already maxed for TH 7). It works even without clan troops. I could get over 2.7k and 2.8k DE. It's a great method if your army has enough time to cook.
I'm not sure if the BAM strategy for DE works with level 4 troups. I think I will just test it the day after tomorrow when I get lvl 2 minions. Nothing can go wrong as I won't need much gold or elixir until I hit TH 8.
Hey, see my answers below in blue. I would say if someone is only able to occasionally login and raid, heavier army build is a must. If however you are able to dedicate 1-2 hours of uninterrupted play time, any variation of BAM would be great as it would allow faster results. When I can't play due to work (like today) I just make dragons.balloons etc.

1. Did you use your heroes in these attacks? Yesterday I was only using BK as my AQ was getting shiny new bow. I only use BK as a meat shield when using rage and trying to get to the very core of the base. Sometimes here and there just to ensure 50% if i need a win.

Fail rate would probably be 50/50 but I am not looking at the fail rate as much as the final outcome i.e. if base has 2000 DE and I took 1500 - it's a success to me. Bigger problem is finding suitable bases. Obviously some of the bases with maxed DE and Gold are a skip for me. So I do about 20 to 50 searches to locate "raidable" bases.
4. For the 0 DE loss battles, you did not use any minions, correct? That is correct. As you could see my DE loss is about 10%. It maybe bit high, but again, I'm mostly looking at the end of the days' total.

As a follow up, this time BA army made me very happy. As you can see I am up to 69k DE from yesterdays' 38k. Nothing to brag about but I think it's a decent rate. Witches lvl2 woot woot
