Wow, perfect execution and an awesome battle! Only question/suggestion is why you didn't send in the golem first? I think the golem would trigger spring traps and the healer is most useful when healing a large group of troops (especially giants). So expending the golem to preserve your giants + healers would probably produce better results, I am guessing?
Other than that, it was a beautiful raid!

I've decided to start my healer lvl3 instead of PEKKA lvl2. Without me needing to do both dark rax, my TH9 date also moved up.
Quick question, how do you handle abandoned bases with 250k+ of each. With my previous farming army I could easily dump archers and barbs to clean up mines/pumps, much tougher now.

I don't think that deploying Barbs > Giants > Golem or Golem > Barbs > Giants would really affect the battle results but yeh you're right ;D
In the end, they're almost all deployed in the same time, the key is to go fast.

Good points :
- CCTRPH worked pretty well (CC Troops Reinforcement Plug Hole ..)
- my Barb King ignored outter buildings (Gold and Elix storages) and went directly to the core
- after I got what I came for (DE, obviously), I cancelled the battle to decrease the BK regen time.
One more thing I noticed in this recent attack :
- check my Archer #5 deployed on the top right Gold Mine (0:36 of video, or 2:50 of battle)
- it is clearly out of range from the Lv10 Gold Cannon
- after the Cannon kills my other 3 Archers, he can now hit my Archer #5 (0:47 of video, or 2:39 of battle)

If I were in your situation I would also go for the Healer first, definitely.
About handling abandoned bases : what is your army composition ?
With mine (15 Archers, 15 Gobs, 18 Barbs, 12 Minions) I could still go for those abandoned bases.

Its been about a day since I started going heavy after DE with Unity's strategy. Got about 19k so far. Not bad for a th8 going against Xbows and Towers of death (IT)![]()

I was in 1300-1400 range when I got these. Here was my troop comp that I used (TH7, level 4).
10 Barbs - to test for traps, clear outside buildings and lure cc/hero
34 Archers - clear outskirt and attack over-the-wall if I can't break the wall where DE is stored
20 Goblins
12 Giants
8 Wall-breakers - needed more WB as these are only level 4 plus my WB placement needs refining
4 Wizards
2 Healers
8 Minions
I did a trophy push using dragons and balloons to get up to 1700 so that I can search-less bases that have more DE loot. At this slightly higher level, I think I may need to increase giants from 12 quantities to 14.

Would it not be hard to farm for other resources (gold or elixir) using Unity's method especially if 2 or 3 gold/elixir storages are scattered around the base and not just sitting in the core?
Isn't one of the reasons this DE farming works so well is because the troop's goal is to aim for destroying ONE building (i.e., DE storage)

Wow, what an honor ! Of course I don't mind, cool with it.
But you should mention Unity too, all of this was possible thanks to him.
What I meant is that I will attack a base even if it has low DE, I'll take it if it has sufficient amount of Gold, the Unity way = piercing the core.

It has only been 5 days since I started this journey but it has been great so far (i.e., the DE collecting part). When I started this method 5 days ago, my hero (BK) was at level 4; at the moment BK is still at level 4. However, I was able to collect a good amount of DE. If I recall, I had about 8000 DE when I started. I then did a trophy pushed to get to 1700 trophy and got maybe another 4500k in DE. This bring my DE to about 12500...ten raids later, I maxed my DE storage (20000). I won't have a free builder for another 1-1/2 days so I decided to upgrade Hog Rider to level 2.
From the ten raids, I had one that was 2357 and two that were over 1100+. I could have gotten another 1200 raid but my wifi network dropped...only managed 454.
Currently, I am sitting under 1000 DE. Let's see how long it will take to get up to max DE storage to get a level 5 BK.
I am almost maxed TH7. I planned to have max gold and elixir storages when entering TH8. Should DE be maxed as well before entering TH8?
