Great Job on this thread! And thank you so much for your hard work - have learnt loads and haven't even had time to watch vids yet! Your CC plug-hole (as I've decided to call it) is such a great idea cant wait to try it. I am a fairly new player, since November and am 3/4 through th8 (which I'm determined to max out before ug) - my BK is currently lvl 4 and i just new it would be important to upgrade him as soon/fast as possible, even though it seems at this point to be a long/ hard slog - so thanks for making me feel I'm not alone with my instincts. Really look forward to your vids as my biggest de raid so far has been 1 500 - lol

I wonder how OP's army comp will work with level 4 troops. I am at TH7 and almost maxed everything; still need a good amount of walls, BK to level 5 (currently at level 4) and collectors/mines (yes, I want these to max before moving on). I guess I need to move up in trophy range (currently around 1300-1400) to maybe 1600-1800.

Minions are level 2 already so if this method works, I may get Hog Rider up before moving to the next town hall.

I think you can use the same army composition, reduce the number of archers, goblins, and barbs, and hit easier targets. Let us know how it works out, and good luck!!

So far so good. I still need to work on the "quick" deployment of the troops as well as which order to deploy. With level 4 troops, the rage spell is your friend; I had to use this spell about every third attack.

I had to adjust the army composition due to the fact that at TH7 the army capacity is maxed at 200. This is still influx but here is the current comp:

10 Barbs
34 Archers
20 Goblins
12 Giants
8 Wallbreakers
4 Wizards
2 Healers
8 Minions

My farming army consists of barbs, archers, goblins, giants and wallbreakers; when I farm DE with this set, I typical lose the battle. With the modification/addition of healers, wizards and minions to the army, my DE farming is winning more battles in addition to getting the DE.

Here are the results of the ten attacks. The zero DE was because I didn't see that the base had x-bows; I got excited to see 800+ DE that I just went for it.

I am a th8 and and I am really enjoying this army composition. Works well against strong th8 and weak th9. Great success so far!
Basically its the same as your comp, just a few less giants and gobs.

It takes a little longer to cook, but its really fun. I needed a change of pace from my standard farming comp and my 3 drag attack.

In this video I messed up a bit, forgot to drop enough wall breakers until all my troops already reached the wall, so I quickly dropped like all of them and then used the rage spell to ensure that they arrive quickly at the 2nd line of wall to blow up a path for my army. Lucky save there

This next video demonstrates clearing outskirt buildings and CC plug hole, and the power of deploying most of your troops very fast, and then rage them all for a super rush. It tears up the segments so fast... it is pure joy



Also if you get strong CC reinforcements from your clan, like lv 5 wizards or lv 3 dragons, then it greatly increases the success of your DE raids because you would have enough fire power to break through most of the walls quickly.
